Celebrating the First of September, Knowledge Day, has become a tradition in our school. The celebration started at 10:00 with the welcoming speech by Damien Butters, the Head Teacher of the school which was followed by the speeches of the honored guests Joseph Kobzon, Deputy of the Russian State Duma and Russian Honored Artist, and Yuri Cherednichenko, the head of Zareche.
After the concert children released their balloons with wishes written on them into the sky and moved to classrooms led by their teachers and had their first lessons. Afterwards parents and children enjoyed BBQ and refreshments and had fun playing sports games, jumping on bouncy castles, doing face painting and drawing on the special walls. This week, the school bell sounded, traditionally opening the new academic year. The guys went to the first classes, where they showed imagination and told each other about themselves with the help of bright drawings.
