Admission criteria & process
As a first step, parents are welcome to visit their preferred CIS campus. This can be done by submitting the form to arrange a convenient date and time. Those parents who are unable to fill in the visit to campuses form can call the Admissions Office and book an appointment over the phone.Either during the campus visit or at a later date, prospective pupils take an assessment; the type of assessment varies by age.

Admission rules
Either during the campus visit or at a later date, prospective pupils take an assessment. The type of assessment varies by age, but for most ages it includes an English and Maths test and an interview with the School Psychologist, and children under 10 also with a speech therapist. The assessment is to determine your child's ability to succeed and whether or need they may need extra support. The assessment process is designed with the interests of each individual child in mind. Based on the assessment results, parents receive useful knowledge about their child and feedback from our specialists.
The cost of the entrance assessment depends on the campus:
- Skolkovo — 30,000 RUB
- Gorki — 30,000 RUB
- Moscow — 20,000 RUB
- Saint Petersburg — 15,000 RUB
- Tashkent — 750,000 UZS
The assessment at school is carried out according to the author's method - this is an absolutely comfortable process for the child in a playful form, when our specialist, using various techniques, finds out the level of preparation, scope of skills, individual characteristics. You, as a parent, will receive invaluable knowledge about your child, and it will be easier for our teachers to build an educational track, taking into account the individual characteristics of the student.
Feedback from a specialist will be very useful to you in everyday life, and the child will enjoy the game.
Once your child has taken the tests, if they are determined a suitable fit and should there be a place available, we will require you to reserve a place as soon as it is possible by completing the Application Form and paying the Entrance Fee.
Most students join CIS in September, but we are happy to admit students throughout the year provided that we have places available.
Along with the Application Form, which is provided by the school's admissions office, the original or copies of the following documents need to be provided by the parents:
- Child's Birth Certificate
- Child's passport and their identity card (Russian) or visa (non-Russian)
- Passport of one of the parents and their identity card (Russian) or visa (non-Russian)
- Two passport size photographs of your child
- One passport size photograph of the adult(s) (may be up to 5 adults) who will be responsible for collecting your child from school
- Medical and health records for your child
- Signed medical insurance declaration
- Any available academic transcripts from previous schools (if applicable)
