The programme develops reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in a fully immersive environment. Children use English confidently in both academic and everyday communication. Lessons are delivered by native speakers through texts, discussion, collaboration and structured language practice. A strong foundation is built for successful progression within the international curriculum.
The programme develops a secure understanding of numbers, operations and logical reasoning. Pupils learn to explain their thinking and apply mathematical concepts with confidence. Spatial awareness and data skills are strengthened through discussion, visual models and exploring different solution strategies.
The programme nurtures scientific curiosity and enquiry. Children learn to observe, question and draw evidence-based conclusions. Teaching follows an enquiry-based approach through experiments, investigation and reflection.

How the assessment works
We use our own assessment approach, designed to be supportive and age-appropriate. The process takes place in a comfortable, child-friendly format.
Specialists assess the child's academic readiness, skills and learning profile, individual needs and strengths. This helps parents better understand their child, while enabling teachers to design an optimal learning pathway.
Seat reservation: after testing, parents complete the application forms and pay the enrollment fee.
Most students enroll in spring and summer. Admission during the academic year is possible subject to availability.
Parents are required to submit:
— Child's birth certificate;
— Child's passport from age 14 and visa for foreign citizens;
— Passport of one parent and visa for foreign citizens;
— Medical record and health insurance policy;
— Academic transcripts from previous schools;
— Two photographs of the child, 3×4 cm;
— One photograph of the authorised adult, 3×4 cm.

Tuition includes education under two programmes, learning materials, meals (3-4 times a day), selected clubs, and access to school facilities. School uniform, trips, and some additional activities are paid separately.
Instruction is conducted in English. Russian is taught as part of the national curriculum, creating a bilingual learning environment.
CIS maintains small class sizes, on average 15-18 students, to ensure individual attention and a personalised approach.
From 2 to 18 years
Cambridge and national programmes delivered simultaneously. Graduates receive A/AS Level certificates and a state diploma.
CIS offers more than 30 clubs, including sports, creative arts, music, technology, and humanities, based on students' interests.
The school day lasts approximately 7 hours and ends in the afternoon. The schedule depends on the year group. After-school care is available if needed.
Yes. Homework is age-appropriate, balanced, and designed to reinforce learning and develop independent study skills.
Yes. After-school care includes supervision, homework support, and additional activities guided by teachers.
Yes. Students may enroll at any time during the academic year, subject to availability. The main intake takes place in spring and summer.

English proficiency is assessed during entrance testing. CIS accepts students with different language levels and supports confident adaptation to English-medium education.
Adaptation is gradual and comfortable. Teachers closely observe students and help them feel confident from the first days while the school maintains active communication with parents.
The school has a medical office. Parents are contacted immediately, and actions are taken according to the approved medical protocol.
