What makes you a good teacher?

My educational journey was profoundly shaped by a teacher who saw my potential when I could not. This experience is the bedrock of my commitment to making a significant difference in the lives of my students. I believe in inspiring a love of learning by creating a positive environment where we explore multiple pathways to understanding. Learning is not a linear process, and I am skilled at designing instruction that is as unique as the learners themselves. This is particularly vital in my classroom, where a majority of students are mastering English as an additional language. I leverage strategies like Total Physical Response (TPR) and experiential learning to make vocabulary and concepts tangible. By transforming lessons into engaging physical activities, I create a vibrant space where language barriers are overcome through action, collaboration, and the joyful application of new knowledge.

Achievements:

I am most proud to be able to adapt to new surroundings quickly and enjoy different cultures.

Lifestyle:

Outside of the classroom, I have a great appreciation for activities that promote creativity and well-being. I am an avid gardener and painter, which I find to be both relaxing and intellectually stimulating pursuits. I also enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle through cooking nutritious meals, going to the gym, and taking long walks to explore our beautiful city. My greatest passion is traveling; every journey fuels my curiosity and deepens my appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives, which I love sharing with my students.

Dreams & Ambitions:

I dream to be Dr. Danielle one day and to travel to South America
