My name is Nasirov Shamil, 2018 graduate, CIS Skolkovo. In the academic year 2020-2021, the alumni association invited me to become an ambassador in Russia, to which I gladly agreed, since through such activities I would have the opportunity to influence someone's future for the better. I believe that this kind of initiative and activity on the part of the school is a very correct step since through maintaining connections, everyone who is involved in it can reach many heights. In this association, there are not only graduates but also students, parents and teachers from different years and stages of school development. Alumni can keep in touch with other alumni, and such communication can result in support, partnership, or a project, and with a younger generation, to whom there is a lot to be told or helped and mentored. Students get the opportunity to see different vectors of how life continues after graduation from CIS, as well as receive important instructions and advice. Parents get the opportunity to communicate with alumni and learn a lot of new and useful things about school and education, as alumni have been in this system and have something to share. The Association holds monthly meetings with various kinds of activities, where a pleasant atmosphere and fascinating conversations are an integral part, and I am very glad that I am directly involved in the organization. In addition to cosy meetings, alumni are invited to campuses to communicate with students about different topics: student life, university admission, exam preparation, extracurricular activities, etc.
