During the Russian Week, students of the Year 1 classes got acquainted with Russian folk tales. 

This month at CIS Skolkovo campus the children in EYFS and KS1 had a wonderful time celebrating Russian Week. 

Throughout the week, we celebrated Russian Week. The children learnt about Russian culture and language during the carousel activities.

Wendy joined CIS in 2016, following on from her role as Assistant Head at Dulwich College Suzhou, China. Previous to that she worked at St Michael’s International School, Kobe, Japan for 5 years.

On 25^th January there was Maths Day in our school. The student led Maths Day was very successful. 

As we shared last month – our school decided to stop using plastic cups at school.

We were very pleased to have our first Open House evening at our new CIS International School Saint Petersburg campus. 

On January 19-20, Mr Paul from CIS St. Petersburg campus joined two colleagues from Moscow in attending the TES Jobs Fair in London.

In Global Perspectives, we are developing a range of skills – such as research, collaboration, communication and reflection - and learning strategies through exploration of a number of challenges which encourage learners to engage with the society and environment around them and look to make a positive difference to the world we live in.
