Casey Barnes is a qualified teacher who was born in America and grew up in Ireland. He studied English Literature and Education and is currently working toward a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. He has been teaching for 14 years in South Korea, the United States, and Vietnam and was a sailing instructor for a number of years before. His hobbies include a variety of outdoor activities, adventure sports, and travel. Part of Casey’s educational philosophy is the belief that all students can become lifelong learners by helping them understand that education goes beyond their classroom life – into the community, their careers, and their lives as responsible global citizens. Casey is very excited about moving to a new country and new school and looks forward to meeting and becoming part of the CIS community.
This week, the school bell sounded, traditionally opening the new academic year. The guys went to the first classes, where they showed imagination and told each other about themselves with the help of bright drawings.

On June 1st and 2nd, a large-scale conference, the Moscow Model United Nations Conference (MMUN’24), will take place at the CIS Gorki campus.
