What makes you a good teacher?
I chose this profession because I am passionate about making a positive difference in students' lives. As a student, I faced many challenges where I often wished that teachers were more open-minded and understanding. Those experiences inspired me to become the kind of educator who listens, supports, and truly connects with students. I aim to inspire learners by making my subject engaging, relatable, and meaningful, encouraging them to think critically and express themselves with confidence. I work to build a supportive environment by communicating with empathy, showing patience, and respecting each student’s individual needs and background. By finding a common language rooted in trust and mutual respect, I hope to empower students and create a learning experience where they feel seen, heard, and valued.

Professional achievements:

Master of Education (2022) – with additional qualifications in Child Psychology, Montessori Education, and Cambridge International Education. Certified in Safeguarding & Child Protection, SEND Inclusion, First Aid, and Mental Wellbeing in Children and Young People. Maths Development, Wellbeing, Speech and Language Development, and Inclusive Teaching Practices. Accredited in Cambridge Primary and Science Teaching.

Personal achievements:
What I am most proud of in my life is raising my daughter, who has balanced both sports and academics, an all rounder and watching her grow into a confident, compassionate individual. One of my most meaningful achievements as an educator has been ensuring 100% progress in every child under my care. This reflects not only my commitment to inclusive and differentiated teaching but also my belief that every student is capable of growth when given the right support and encouragement. I take pride in identifying each child’s unique strengths and challenges, and tailoring my approach to help them succeed. In addition to student progress, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and training fellow educators, many of whom have gone on to excel in their own careers. These accomplishments reinforce my passion for teaching and my dedication to making a lasting, positive impact in education.

Lifestyle:
I enjoy a mix of sports and creative activities, including kayaking, basketball, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, art and craft, and singing. One of my most memorable travel experiences was during a mountain trip where I got lost: it was a bit frightening at the time, but it turned into a valuable and unforgettable adventure. In my free time, I also enjoy collecting stamps and coins, and I take pride in being highly organized, which helps me stay focused and efficient in everything I do.

Dreams & Ambitions:
To be an empathetic, humble, caring and resourceful leader
