What makes you a good teacher?
I chose the teaching profession to pursue my passion for literature, expression and knowledge. This has led me to teach students from all over the world in schools in South Korea, Cambodia, South Africa, Malaysia and Iraqi Kurdistan. I have taught external exams such as IGCSE, SAT, AP and IELTS. I see language as means of creative expression as well as a functional social tool and work to guide and inspire my students to be both expressive and analytical. My teaching approach is holistic and interdisciplinary with a strong focus on critical and creative thinking skills.
Achievements:
What makes me most proud is seeing my students' skills and confidence improve.
Lifestyle:
Outside of the classroom, I have a passion for exploring new places, ideas, and experiences. I satisfy this curiosity through traveling, reading extensively, and meeting fascinating individuals from diverse backgrounds. In addition, I find joy in watching films, listening to music, practicing yoga, and engaging in creative writing whenever inspiration strikes.
Dreams & Ambitions:
To continue learning, teaching, and inspiring students to be their best.
