What makes you a good teacher?

I chose my profession because I always could find a common language with children. Also, it was important for me to make a contribution to a modern society by teaching children and giving them a chance to show their talent to this world. I suppose that one of the key goals of every teacher is to make children understand that all of them are unique and talented.

Achievements:

I am proud that I’m brave and active and despite my young age I’ve achieved a lot in professional sphere, and I’m not going to stop, that is just the beginning.

Lifestyle:

I like handicrafting, for example crochet or drawing. As for sport activities, I like riding a bike, skiing, swimming, walking with my dog, ice skating, dancing, playing basketball and badminton. I also like singing. Memorable experience when travelling: every year during my summer holidays I like jet skiing. Last year when I did that I went far away and I saw a flock of dolphins really close to me and my legs. It was amazing to observe them following me while I was riding a jet ski. Other hobbies: numismatics.

Dreams & Ambitions:

I am dreaming about travelling more and having my own wooden house in some calm area, where my family and I will live.

MUN: International debate in Korea

Ioana, our Romanian Year 12 student at CIS Skolkovo, got a unique opportunity this year to go to Korea for MUN (Model United Nations), a large—scale event where guys from different countries play the role of UN delegates and strive to solve acute social problems. This conference is hosted by Yale University and is needed to awaken civic engagement in schoolchildren from all over the world. After all, the future of the planet belongs to the younger generation!
