On 22 March, the CIS Chess Tournament 2026 - an international chess tournament - will be held at Gorki Campus. The event will bring together students, parents and teachers - everyone who appreciates logic, strategy and the beauty of this ancient game.
We welcome the following participants:
students and parents;
chess enthusiasts and experienced players — regardless of rating;
school teams and individual participants.
The programme features two exciting stages:
Qualifying matches under the Swiss system: each participant will play several games to determine the strongest players.
Final games with a торжественная award ceremony for the winners.
Top players in each age category will receive:
cups and medals;
certificates of participation — for all tournament participants.
The event’s honoured guest is Danila Pavlov, a three‑time world chess champion. He will interact with the participants, share his experience and offer valuable advice to young talents.
