Education is more than imparting knowledge. It is about building character and empowering each individual to be an enthusiastic lifelong learner and a global citizen of the future. With this objective, we at Cambridge International School provide student-oriented education that allows young adults to continuously discover their potential in an ever-changing world. Since the very beginnings of our school, we have counted only the daily hard work of the teachers and the students in achieving goals, as well as the struggle and the great desire of the parents to contribute to school’s work for the sake of their children. As this year is drawing to a close, we look back and remember not only the big happenings but also the small events that made this year memorable. To showcase our talents, achievements, significant events, personalities and diversity that make up the Cambridge International School, we have created our very own journal. Please join me in celebrating our accomplishments, initiatives and outstanding performances, as you browse through this, our very first edition. This journal will be used to document the life of the school and its people: parents, pupils, and staff. Welcome to our new Youngzine with some of the finest highlights that have appeared in CIS over the past months. The good news is that we are finishing another exiting academic year and enjoying three happy events.

Sometimes I gently tease my eldest that I had nothing like Cambridge education that she enjoys. Young people understandably do not like to be told how lucky they are!

I am not much of a footballer, though I will surely enjoy the atmosphere of the World Cup coming to Russia. But I greatly admire the qualities that footballers develop – teamwork, respect, and fair play.
