Sometimes I gently tease my eldest that I had nothing like Cambridge education that she enjoys. Young people understandably do not like to be told how lucky they are! Actually, I too was very na.ve not to fully value the school I attended when I was a pupil. But it is true. Together we, pupils, parents, teachers, and support staff really are greatly privileged people. So do we believe that with great privilege comes great responsibility?
