Beginning of June CIS Moscow organized an incredibly exciting event - the Moscow Model United Nations conference, 2024.
Spearheaded by General Secretary Elizaveta Kuzmina and chaired by students from CIS Moscow and CIS Saint Petersburg, the conference brought together students from 6 international and Russian schools.
Over two days, 50 secondary school delegates participated in 3 general assemblies to engage in diplomatic discussions and debates on pressing global issues such as:
Problems Regarding Displacement and Climate Change, The Role of Science and Technologies in International Security and Disarmament, Ameliorating the Effects of the Pension Age Rise in the Global Workforce, Combatting Online Disinformation and Content Regulation, Improving Gender Equality to Promote Development, Sustainable Energy for Development.
It was a truly enriching and inspiring experience for all involved.
