The Reception class is about much more than colors and shapes, numbers and letters... It’s an exciting time, for children. This is the year that children becomes “school ready”; developing their independence, confidence, resilience and curiosity. Each child is learning by doing things for themselves, by exploring and investigating, watching and listening, talking and discussing, creating and communicating – in other words - playing.

Looking back at the photos taken and the work we did, we (Ms Nadia and I) can really see just how much they have developed physically, emotionally, socially as well as academically.

During our time at school the Rosy Rabbits and the Lovely Lions have learned about sea animals, conservation and went on an international exploration visiting Hong Kong and the African wildlife. We also learned about numbers and shapes and discovered letters of the alphabet.
