Cambridge Teacher, Business and Economics

Country:

Education:

Université de Montpellier, France - Sheffield Hallam University, UK

Work experience:
I have worked for over 20 years, in France, the UK and Russia.

What makes you a good teacher?
As a seasoned and passionate educator, I am driven by a genuine passion for unlocking student potential. I design lessons that stimulate curiosity by connecting abstract concepts to real-world applications, ensuring students understand the 'why' behind the 'what'. By building authentic relationships and fostering an inclusive environment, I hold high expectations and empower every student to reach new heights and achieve their individual objectives.

Achievements:
Helping my students to achieve beyond expectations at their final exams.

Lifestyle:
Outside of work, I really enjoy rugby and being involved in theatre, both of which teach you a lot about teamwork. I obviously like travelling and one of my most memorable experience was probably in Sevilla, where, on a cold January night, I stumbled onto the underground flamenco scene by accident. At home, I'm a keen cook and baker; it's a nice way to relax and I enjoy having friends over for a meal or a BBQ!

Dreams & Ambitions:
After planting a tree and raising a son, I would love to build a home in an unusual location: There, I could grow my own food and gradually improve the property with my own hands. I would also aim to use the skills I've gained to contribute by helping with local community projects or offering tutoring and support to the neighbouring area.
