Cambridge Teacher, Primary School

Country:

Canada / Greece

Education:

Bachelor of Arts (2016), Bachelor of Education (2020), Acadia University

Work experience:
Over 10 years, I have had the pleasure to work in many different classroom settings with all student ages and abilities, both in Canada and in Russia.

What makes you a good teacher?
I chose this profession as I love learning, and I am also passionate about languages. I inspire students by helping them to discover the very best in their own potential both inside and outside the English classroom. I do this by always tailoring lessons to best suit a student's individual interests, life goals, and learning abilities.

Achievements:
First deciding to come to Russia to begin my teaching career, without ever having left Canada before.

Lifestyle:
Outside the classroom, normally you can find me on the football pitch (even in the snow!). I stay busy improving my Russian, and well as my spoken Greek- the language of my grandparents. I am also very passionate about food and coffee, and have held jobs in the past as a cook and as a barista.

Dreams & Ambitions:
My ambition is to always keep on learning and growing to become the best educator I could possibly be for my students and my school community.
