CIS is a private international school with a kindergarten and a nursery. Qualified native English teachers from the UK, Australia, Canada and the USA work here. They use game techniques that develop creative thinking, the ability to work in a team and effectively solve emerging problems.
Each class is staffed by an international-level teacher, an assistant, and an experienced babysitter. This ensures an individual approach to each child and a comfortable interaction between children and caregivers.
How are the levels of education in the CIS kindergarten arranged?
The school organizes several stages of preschool education:
The next stage of education includes elementary grades according to the British educational program: Year 1–Year 4 (pupils age from 5 to 8 years).
In total, there are 13 classes (Years) in the school structure, ensuring the continuous development of the child up to the completion of the school course.
A learning environment for the youngest
The main feature of our kindergarten is the EYFS (The Early Years Foundation Stage) program. This is the British pre-school education system, which covers the development of a child from birth to the age of five. It is designed for integrated learning — that is, for the simultaneous development of physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills.
EYFS Learning Areas:
Communication and language: We listen carefully to children, discuss stories, teach them to express their feelings in full sentences, and use vocabulary from short stories and poems.
The world around them: Children learn about people's lives, compare historical epochs, study cultures, seasons and aggregate states.
Personal, social and emotional development: We share our feelings, explain social rules, and set an example of proper behavior.
Visual Arts and Design: Children experiment with materials, color, and shape, adapt stories, and play character roles.
Mathematics: Students learn to count to ten, recognize objects, compare magnitudes, and distinguish between even and odd numbers.
Physical development: Children actively move, develop coordination and fine motor skills, and learn to draw accurately.
Literacy: We learn to pronounce sounds, letters, letter combinations, read simple sentences and write phrases on the blackboard.
Mode of stay
CIS has three kindergartens, and each of them has its own schedule. Classes are usually held from 8:00 to 15:30. After the end of the lessons, children have the opportunity to stay in kindergarten for an extended period or attend additional classes in clubs.
Among the offered clubs you can find classes in acting, board games, regional studies, journalism, aerobics, football, batik, mental arithmetic, robotics, choreography, jujitsu, fencing, hip-hop, vocals, guitar playing, Chinese language and many other areas.
