On Wednesday the 25th, the Reception and Nursery classes had two lovely women come in to teach us how to make our Jack-in-the-box toys. Firstly, we sat in a circle and we were showed what we were going to make, then we got to sit in small groups around tables. With the help of an adult on each table we were able to make our Jack-in-the-boxes. We got to use exciting art supplies like glue, cups, fabric and as many jewels as we wanted. We all had a great time being able to explore our own creativity through a fun and safe environment.
This week, the school bell sounded, traditionally opening the new academic year. The guys went to the first classes, where they showed imagination and told each other about themselves with the help of bright drawings.
