Cambridge International School is a private international school in Moscow offering bilingual education in Russian and British programs. The school prepares graduates with IGCSE and International AS A level secondary education diplomas, which are recognized by universities in the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Canada and other countries. Here they can receive a high-quality education and fully unleash their creative potential.

School Principals

The school has three campuses in different parts of Moscow and the Moscow region: CIS Moscow, CIS Skolkovo and CIS Gorki. The directors in each group are qualified teachers from English—speaking countries. We suggest you get to know them better:

Jesse Richardson is the Director of the CIS Moscow campus with 17 years of experience in Australia, Vietnam and Russia. Her achievements include studying at three universities in different countries and training the first—ever UN peacekeepers from Vietnam before being sent to South Sudan and the Central African Republic.

Jessie believes that you can find a common language with any student: you just have to get to know them better and put yourself in their shoes: "I know that many children don't like history. Therefore, in my classes, I try in every possible way to "revive" the events of the past, to immerse students in the atmosphere of ancient times."

Stuart McPherson is the director of the CIS Skolkovo campus. He has taught in schools in Scotland and England, and spent several years in Italy working at summer camps in the UK and Europe. Stewart joined the CIS Skolkovo team in August 2020 and is now helping to develop the school by encouraging students to achieve high results.

Stewart says, "For us, a child is a person, and therefore we respect his interests, character traits, and developmental characteristics. Here, children learn how to manage their time, take an active part in school life and make global plans for the future. Creativity, experimentation, sports — everyone can find and discover their talent here!"

Christopher Kingshott is the director of the CIS Gorki campus from the UK. He has over 15 years of teaching experience in the UK, Japan, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Russia. Christopher believes that a teacher's enthusiasm can be contagious and therefore tries in every possible way to convey to students his love of knowledge:

"In everything we do, we are guided by our core values of caring, collaboration, and lifelong learning. We strive to make school years bright and memorable. Therefore, we develop a sense of community in children and create a warm atmosphere in which every student will be sure that his ideas, thoughts and talents will be welcomed with joy and curiosity."

Training programs

CIS supports two programs: British and Russian. They mutually enrich each other by giving children the opportunity to study subjects from different angles.

The Cambridge program prepares graduates with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A level secondary education diplomas, which are recognized by universities in the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Canada and other countries.

The Russian educational program has been approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and is designed for children from 7 to 18 years old, for whom Russian is their native language.
