Experience:
Having taught one year in a K-12 school in Kyuquot, BC, Canada, Jon then taught French Immersion for 6 years at a Middle School and then another 13 years of Spanish, French, French Immersion Maths and Sciences and Social Studies (History and Geography) at a high school on Vancouver Island. He moved to Russia in 2019 and has been teaching Humanities at CIS since 2020, with a focus on the Geography and Global Perspectives programs. Next year, Jon will lead the Humanities Faculty and continues to enjoy his experiences at CIS.
Tashkent campus is located in a cosy and modern residential area near the city centre in Almazar district. The innovative educational complex includes a school and a full-time kindergarten for children for ages two and older.
