The Girl with the Lost Smile is written by Miranda Hart. It was first published in Great Britain in 2017. It is a fantasy book, and it is written about a girl who always tries to smile. However, something happens and she loses her smile.
The girl’s name is Chloe, and she must get her smile back for her family and friends. Chloe and her friends were always joking and laughing, so they were very confused, when Chloe stopped smiling. While they were trying to find her smile, she meets two extraordinary friends who help her to find her smile. Chloe also has an imaginary world, where she actually tries to find her smile.
The book has a lot of magical creatures and extraordinary things, but it’s not like a perfect magical kingdom. They also have some stressful and sad moments. It is an easy book to read, but there are some words that children would not understand. I would recommend this book to children from 7 to 12 years old, to people who like fantasy, but it could be a little boring for older children.
