Work Experience:

I have more than 25 years of teaching and coaching experience across South Africa, the UK and Uzbekistan. My professional experience includes English teaching, Primary education, student development and mentoring.

In Uzbekistan, I teach English (TEFL) to Grades 5–11 within the Ministry of Preschool and School Education system, where I am involved in co-teaching and teacher masterclasses. Throughout my career, I have also worked as a Grade Head, English Teacher, Class Teacher and Head of Junior Primary Sport.

What Makes Me a Good Teacher?

I believe that education goes beyond academic achievement. My approach combines strong academic foundations with communication, resilience, character development, problem-solving and practical life skills.

Through student-centred learning, collaboration, mentoring and interactive teaching strategies, I aim to help young people become confident, curious and capable learners.

Professional Achievements:

Throughout more than 25 years in education, I have gained experience across different countries and educational systems, taking on both teaching and leadership roles. Mentoring and sharing knowledge with fellow educators have also become important parts of my professional journey.

Hobbies:

I am passionate about sport and the outdoors. I have experience coaching cricket, rugby and hockey, and I enjoy canoeing, mountain biking, outdoor adventures and photography.

Dreams and Aspirations:

I aim to help young people become confident, curious and capable learners by combining academic development with character building and practical life skills.

Campus Tashkent

Tashkent campus is located in a cosy and modern residential area near the city centre in Almazar district. The innovative educational complex includes a school and a full-time kindergarten for children for ages two and older.
