I have over four years of experience in education, having begun my career as a teaching assistant in South-Africa before progressing into a full-time teaching role. In early 2025, I commenced employment at CIS Moscow.

What makes you a good teacher?

I chose teaching because I am passionate about working with children and supporting their academic and personal development in a positive and encouraging environment. I inspire learners by creating engaging, well-structured lessons that encourage participation, confidence, and love for learning while using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning needs. I build strong relationships with students by being approachable, patient and respectful, listening to their needs and communicating at their level so that they feel supported, understood and motivated to succeed.

Personal achievements:

I'm most proud of my personal growth. Reflecting on how far I've come has strengthened my confidence and motivates me to keep pushing toward bigger goals.

Lifestyle:

I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. Recently I discovered that I love snowboarding and would like to continue improving my skills. One of my most memorable travel experiences was visiting Russia for the first time and seeing so much snow for the first time. In terms of sport, rugby has a special place in my heart because my husband is a rugby player, so I really enjoy watching and supporting the sport. I also enjoy netball and gymnastics, which I find both fun and challenging. Outside of sports, I have a strong appreciation for nature.

Dreams & Ambitions:

My ambition is to continue developing as a dedicated and effective educator while making a positive and lasting impact on the academic and personal growth of my learners. I aim to broaden my international teaching experience, refine my professional skills, and continue meaningfully to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
