United Kingdom/United States of America
I have leadership experience in both the public and private sectors and have taught in a variety of contexts all around the world. Prior to my present position, I taught literature and drama for a middle years (MYP) IB programme in Doha, Qatar, at Arab International Academy, which helped me become versed in the IB program and philosophy. I also worked for two years as a high school English literature, rhetoric, and composition teacher with Teach for America in South Texas, USA. Teach for America is a rigorous and widely respected American educational program with a 12% acceptance rate and completing TFA had a massive impact on my teaching competence and confidence. In addition, I’ve taught EFL abroad – in Korea, Morocco, Italy, and the UK and I have qualified teaching status in the UK.
