CIS Exams 2026: 100% Russian Programme Success, Up to 96% at A Level

CIS Exams 2026: 100% Russian Programme Success, Up to 96% at A Level

Examinations are about much more than final grades. They are the moment when years of learning, determination, support from teachers and encouragement from families come together in a tangible result. This summer, the CIS community has plenty to celebrate.

Students from our campuses in Skolkovo, St Petersburg and Tashkent sat examinations within both the Russian and international programmes. The 2026 results demonstrate something we strongly believe in at CIS: consistent preparation, excellent teaching and individual support make a real difference.

100% success in OGE and EGE

Within the Russian Programme, 100% of our students successfully passed the OGE, while 100% successfully passed the EGE in their chosen specialist subjects.

We are also delighted with some particularly strong individual results. Our students achieved 83 and 86 points in Russian, 72 and 80 in Mathematics, and 78 and 79 in English.

Behind every one of these results is a great deal of hard work.

Our approach to Russian examinations is not simply about teaching students how to pass a test. We combine focused preparation for the OGE and EGE formats with methods widely used in international education: encouraging independent thinking, analytical skills, confident communication, effective time management and the ability to apply knowledge in unfamiliar situations.

This balance helps students prepare for the examination in front of them while developing skills that will remain valuable long after they leave school.

Strong international examination results

Our students also achieved excellent results across the international programmes. The overall CIS pass rate was 94% for IGCSE and 79% for A Level.

There were notable achievements across our campuses. At CIS Tashkent, 96% of students successfully passed A Level. At CIS St Petersburg, the AS Level pass rate reached 85%, while at CIS Skolkovo, 93% of IGCSE results were graded C or above.

Many of our students also achieved the highest A and A* grades across a range of subjects.

International examinations require much more than memorising information, and our preparation reflects this. Students learn to work independently with different sources, identify connections between ideas, tackle unfamiliar problems and build well-reasoned arguments.

Teachers closely monitor individual progress, identify areas where additional support is needed and provide regular feedback. At the same time, students become increasingly familiar with examination techniques and learn how to manage both their time and the pressure of an important assessment.

It is this combination of deep subject knowledge, regular feedback, practice and individual support that helps students approach examinations with both academic competence and confidence.

An important milestone, not the destination

Naturally, we celebrate excellent grades. But as a school, we are equally interested in what our students take away from the experience.

A good education should give young people more than academic knowledge. It should give them the confidence to tackle difficult problems, learn from mistakes, ask questions, take responsibility for their own progress and continue moving forward when something does not come easily.

Examinations are an important opportunity to demonstrate that maturity.

I would like to congratulate every CIS student on their achievements in 2026. You have worked incredibly hard and should be proud of what you have accomplished.

I would also like to thank our teachers. Behind these results are countless hours of preparation, feedback, additional explanation and, perhaps most importantly, knowing when a student needs encouragement and helping them believe in what they can achieve.

And, of course, thank you to our parents for their trust and support throughout this journey.

To our graduates, I would say: do not see these results as the finishing line. Let them be the beginning of the next stage - new universities, new countries, new people, new ideas and new opportunities.

Congratulations to the entire CIS community on these excellent results - and especially to our students. There is so much more ahead of you than a successfully completed examination.
