Nowadays knowledge of foreign languages (English in particular as it is the main tool of international communication) is not just a pleasant excess, but an urgent need.

Each parent wants his child to grow up as a personality with multiple talents. English is a recognized tool for international communication.

I am not much of a footballer, though I will surely enjoy the atmosphere of the World Cup coming to Russia. But I greatly admire the qualities that footballers develop – teamwork, respect, and fair play.

The key theme we have chosen for this issue is: Art and Culture. At our school, we believe art and creativity play an important role in the education of our students and the ways we impart knowledge.

Welcome to our new Youngzine with some of the finest highlights that have appeared in CIS over the past months. The good news is that we are finishing another exiting academic year and enjoying three happy events.

Welcome to the autumn edition of the Youngzine. By its cover you have probably noticed that this is an unusual issue of the Youngzine magazine.

Sometimes I gently tease my eldest that I had nothing like Cambridge education that she enjoys. Young people understandably do not like to be told how lucky they are!

Education is more than imparting knowledge. It is about building character and empowering each individual to be an enthusiastic lifelong learner and a global citizen of the future.

We are so excited to introduce this new issue of our school Youngzine. There are so many great things to share!
