From the 9th to 13th of April we were celebrating International book week.
We were very excited to welcome author Rob Parkinson who visited all of our schools throughout the week. Rob spent the day at Skolkovo on Tuesday 10th April, entertaining us with his work and also providing workshops for the children. All of the children from Pre nursery to year 5 listened to his stories and helped him create sound effects with the instruments he brought. Many of the children helped him to create new adventures with their imaginative ideas for storytelling.
It was an exciting week for everyone, we had reading competitions, dressing up competitions, lots of fun activities to do with books and all week we had a reading tent where children read to each other and had stories told by different adults throughout the week.
