The name Oxford comes from the old term 'Oxanforda' which literally meant a ford (shallow crossing) in the river where the cattle (Oxen) could cross safely.

We have seen wonderful progress in Nursery this term, with the children now used to the routines and transitions in our day.

Over the past 8 weeks, Year 3 students have been passionate about improving their knowledge in all areas of the English language.

Each morning, after breakfast, children in year 4 pick up their reading files and get to work. We have a solid half hour working on various reading skills. The class is always eager to get started and it sets a great foundation for the rest of the day.
