Drama is known to improve verbal and non-verbal communication whilst promoting communication skills, teamwork, dialogue and socialization. Additionally, it stimulates the imagination and children’s creativity.
In our Drama Club, we enjoy expressing ourselves using dance and imitation. We have done lots of activities in which we have used our imagination to act like animals and used our knowledge to imitate different feelings and emotions.
We have also looked at familiar stories and used puppets and masks to act out these stories. We have also told our own stories using hand puppets.
Some of us have even been brave enough to use our skills in front of an audience during the Key Stage One assemblies.
