Today the ‘world’ has become the curriculum for our children, a curriculum accessed through collaborative networks, with networks populated by mobile device users who exist in a constant state of expectancy.

On October 25-26th our students and their parents accompanied by Mr Denis went on a very special and exciting tour to some of the most renowned cities of Russia’s Golden Ring.The most time was spent in Kostroma and the small town of Plyos in Ivanovo Oblast.

Throughout the term we have been discussing the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Learning about good habits in the way we treat our bodies from the inside to the outside and we have learnt about the importance of exercise and eating well.

As predicted, this year has raced on by and we are almost at Christmas, the festive season. It's been a busy and exciting year!

As the days become shorter, and the weather colder, it can mean only one thing- December examinations are imminent!

The notion of empathy has become the central value of our school in the month of November. Given that in the last week of October we talked about charity and did some charity events, the idea of empathy follows logically continues to improve our school's standards and interpersonal relationships. 

Due to the lowered temperature and current weather conditions and in order to prevent viral diseases, you are encouraged to wash your hands regularly, wear warm clothing and ensure general cleanliness at home.

The book «A Bear Called Paddington» by Michael Bond is considered to be a classic 20th century children’s book.

After the New Year, we are starting a Korean language and culture course for Year 4 – Year 8 students as part of the International Culture Club. The teacher of the course is Year 3 & Year 4 teacher’s assistant Ms Alexandra Khmelevskaya.
