Science week is a celebration of all things science related and a week to show our students that science can be fun and a viable career path when they grow older.
Throughout the week, the teachers taught some of their lessons with the theme of science in mind. Some of the lessons included biographies on famous scientists, debates on science themes, and research projects about scientists.
Throughout the entire week, the students collected paper for a recycling contest. The class with the most amount of paper recycled won a certificate at the end of the week. All the students had a special science lesson in laboratory where was performed a fun experiment as oxygen and fire, water tension and density, etc. Also throughout the week Year 6 to Year 8 students had an opportunity to participate in a water rocket building contest.
